Founded in Bursa in 1991, our company is one of the leading fabric manufacturers and exporters of the textile industry.

Global Recycle Standard Certificate
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) was developed by Control Union in 2008 and then transferred to Textile Exchange in 2011. The standard can be applied to companies that manufacture and/or trade recycled products as finished or semi-finished products. It covers all products containing at least 20% recycled materials. The field of application is not limited to textile products, but is very wide, especially for products such as paper, packaging, glass and plastic.
The standard has criteria such as occupational health and safety, environment and waste management.
OEKO-TEX Certificates
Oeko–Tex® 100 standard is a worldwide standardized testing and certification system for textile products and raw materials in all related processing stages in terms of environmental protection and ecological compatibility, implemented by an independent international organization.

Our Vision
As Barutçu Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.S., our vision is to be a pioneering and exemplary organization that meets the domestic and foreign demands of the sector, with an innovative product and service approach in line with R&D/P&D studies and technological developments, without compromising on quality, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
In 2019, we acquired our certificate for Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which protects the organic status of textile products from the harvest of raw materials to the processing, production, packaging, labeling and distribution of the products in order to provide a reliable assurance of an environmentally and socially responsible production approach to the end consumer.
In 2018, we acquired our certificate for Global Recycle Standard (GRS), which ensures the monitoring and verification of the content of recycled materials until the end product including processing, production, packaging, labeling and distribution of products, by fulfilling the production requirements.
In 2019, we acquired our certificate for Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), which ensures monitoring and verification throughout the supply chain from farm to end product, to encourage advances in animal care and land management and to ensure that the wool in the product the customers choose is truly RWS.

INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY
As Barutçu Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş., we are committed to managing all kinds of risks for the continuity of our activities, which constitute our information assets, in accordance with our mission and vision,
- complying with all legal regulations and contracts related to information security,
- carrying out trainings that will develop the competencies and increase awareness about information security,
- continuous improvement by documenting our Information Security Management System in a way that fulfills the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard,

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY POLICY
In order to protect the environment and ensure its continuity in all its activities, to reduce environmental impacts within the scope of current environmental legislation and to leave a livable World to future generations, Barutçu Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.S. aims to work with the logic of “Minimum Waste and Optimum Production” in all its product and production activities.
In line with our Mission and Vision, we undertake;
- to provide development and improvement by meeting current legislation and customer requirements as a result of Determination of Environmental Dimensions, Life Cycle Analysis, Evaluation of Risks and Opportunities,
- to develop our environmental management system in order to improve our environmental performance in all activities,
- to raise awareness of all our employees about our responsibilities to the environment and to ensure their participation,
- to reduce the amount of waste that may occur as a result of production, transportation, storage, operation, treatment and maintenance activities,
- to ensure the recycling and disposal of wastes with intermediary institutions,
- to reduce the risks of pollution that may adversely affect the environment and preventing the spread of possible pollution, within the framework of Employee Health and Occupational Safety rules.

Barutçu Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.S. carries out its activities by providing resources within an effective energy management system based on continuous development, by complying with national and international legislation and regulations.
In line with our mission and vision, on the basis of the philosophy of sustainability of limited energy resources, in order to prevent global warming, reduce environmental impacts and leave a livable World to future generations, we undertake;
- to try to continuously improve our energy performance,
- to make environmentally friendly production by using resources effectively with energy efficiency projects,
- to provide the necessary information and resources to achieve our goals and objectives,
- to comply with all applicable legal terms and requirements regarding energy use, consumption and efficiency,
- to support the purchase of energy efficient products and services and design activities that will improve our energy performance,
to raise awareness of our employees on energy efficiency and savings.

SOCIAL COMPLIANCE POLICY
As Barutçu Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.S. management, we adopt to establish and maintain a transparent, sensitive, qualified system at every stage of production and management for our employees, customers, stakeholders and environment.
PREVENTION OF FORCED AND MANDATORY LABOR;
We undertake not to employ contract bonded, forced or involuntary workers.
PREVENTION OF CHILD LABOR;
We undertake to act in accordance with the procedures and principles of employing children and young workers and not to employ workers under the age of 18.
